finally!
i got an assignment, AND it's through the head division, not the crap division i'm working for now. that means better location, and hopefully a foot in the door into getting back to the main division. i'm so happy.
i'll be working about 2 hour east of manchester, 3 hours north of london. sadly, i can't drive a standard and the hertz doesn't have automatic, so that is going to be an exhausting drive learning to drive a manual on the wrong side of the car on the wrong side of the road. jules tried to teach me in ireland, but i didn't like screwing up with people standing outside the hotel watching. guess i GOTTA learn now. i'll be working nightshift (yeah, no dealing with the customer) for about 3 weeks. hopefully more from there.
good luck to me.
