my medicine

i'm a carrier. i don't REALLY get sick. i get a cough, and that's about it. the problem is, i'm not sick enough to miss work or school, so i go and get other people sick. i do apologize to those people. well i found out yesterday that TheSiteManager was sick. he must've been contagious a few days before as i've had a dry cough for about 2-3 days. 2 days ago, TheCommManager and i had to go to cairo to get our visas, so we were couped up in a car all day, then yesterday we were at work in the office we share, and today, he's not in. he's ill. i made him ill, he of weak immune system. anyways, this post is about the useless medicine i get here in egypt. i went to the pharmacy for a cough suppressant. they asked dry- or wet-cough, i told them dry and they gave me THIS crap. it sounds like something a porn star gets when she breathes in when she's supposed to be swallowing **SORRY**. this stuff is horrid. i ask for medicine, and i get a food supplement. damn holistic healers. so i've resorted to water, centrum, orange juice, halls cough drops, and taking this stuff hoping for a placebo effect to take over. woo-hoo.
