quiet time in the great white north
i wish there were more people to talk to at this time of night... like people halfway round the world... working dayshift... hah.
no, but really, this is strange. i usually work east of my natural timezone (eastern). i haven't worked west of that in ages. and nightshift is even worse. i'm lonely. the crew is good, they know what they are doing, so they need very little supervision, so i'm sitting in the office, trying to fend off a barrage of yawns, droopy eyes, and occasional "jumps" when i realize i was falling asleep. there is no one to talk to. everyone else on a normal schedule on this side of the world is asleep. wish i knew some west coast people.
wish i knew people. and how to talk to them, but i'm getting a book.
