happy thanksgiving

i'm working, the site is giving us steaks for lunch. i've looked around a bit (certainly not exhaustively), and the only place i can find that's open for dinner is the titty bar. hmmm, not really a classical place for thanksgiving dinner, but i'm sure i'd find something there to give thanks for. hah.

i had the chance to come home for the thanksgiving weekend. my manager was trying to get me home traveling on wednesday and coming back saturday. i reminded him that wednesday is the busiest travel day of the year, they'd probably lose my bags, etc. and i told him if i'm still here around xmas, then i MIGHT take him up on it. i want to try to be home for xmas and new year's to see the family and jules, maybe jules' family as well, we'll see. so he let me stay, i'm making double-time-and-a-half today and tomorrow, so in effect, working these two days is over a week's worth pay alone. NICE!!! christmas money.

well, i gotta get back to work, just wanted to wish everyone a happy thanksgiving who stopped by. i'll post pix of the thanksgiving steak after lunch.
