another 330 days
well, today i've been out of the country 330 days since i first came to egypt on 11-january-08. that means i get all of my federal tax back up to something like the first $82k. i think i said it last time, it doesn't make being away from home so long worth while, but it definitely takes a lot of the sting away. this trip was worth something after all. tonight TheMech heads back to the UK for christmas, i leave in 2 days for the US. i'm leaving some of my bags at his apartment while we are away.
i really don't have much more exciting to say, just marking the milestone. i'm excited to be going home, to roadtrip with TheEJ, see the family and friends. hope we get something arranged for NYE, might have to just go all out and make a reservation and hope people follow along. later.
