bugz

emma and i went to one of the non-hotel restaurants last night. we'd heard that the new hotel they are building in town, the river bay, had their restaurants open, so we grabbed an auto-rickshaw and headed out to find it. amazingly, the rickshaw driver knew where it was. this was amazing because often times, you ask them if they know where such-n-such is, they say yes, you get in, and they stop 4-5 times to ask people where it is or to drop you off at the completely wrong place. either way, we got there, and the restaurants won't be open for another month or so we grabbed Mr. Man and had him take us to kalinga. we ordered our whiskeys and asked for a menu. they gave the ONE menu to me because i'm THE MAN. i opened to page 1 and a bug crawled from page 1 toward emma. strange. opened page 2, another bug crawling off the page. i picked the menu up off the table and put it back down and another 2 or 3 bugs crawled from the spin of the menu. like campbell's says mmm mmm good. the waiter saw the bugs, took the menu and wiped it off (i think we'd scared 'em all off already).

ah rajahmundry's finest.

bugz...let me see, you probably have tried them before - either fried, baked or broiled. nothing would surprise me. but i would much prefer that you exit such an establishment immediately upon the little critters skittering Out of THE MENUS!!! DUH!?!?!?!

Lets see if you haven't tried fried, baked, or chocolate dipped bugz before maybe you blended them like the burger. Or is that actually too extreme for even you? I quit jobs for that exact same reason the bugz too up more space than me and I am a big person. Looks like India has a whole lot in common with a Shadyside and old Bellaire food establishement. Scary thought.
