ah, the charleston
i don't know when it happened, but, one time, i did the charleston, and that fact creeps into my friends' memories every now and again when we're drunk, and i'm persuaded into doing it again. memories of days long past, reminiscing on the good times, just trying to make me look stupid, i don't know, but it comes up. i stumbled onto a "charleston" remix page that has a video of people doing the charleston mashed up with current songs. kinda funny, but what i loved most was this picture that was at the header. this picture says to me "i'm white, and HELL YEAH, i can dance", or maybe it's more like "charleston... it gives you WINGS!!!". or, wait, maybe she's just super strong and swinging him around real fast, and that's actually agony on his face as his spine's about to break. i don't know, i still thought it was funny,
i'm leaving the hotel in 5 hours and the country in 10, HELL YEAH i can dance!

I did the Charleston once, when I dressed up like a flapper for Halloween. I have no idea how to do the Charleston. That didn't stop me.
