There is a follow up article to this guy winning...he was beat with a metal pipe over the head by three individuals - who are not big fans of sexual predators. I laughed when I read that one. What a dick!

man, that's just not right. granted what the guy did in the PAST was heinous, he's done his time, he's registered, he's following the law now, hopefully getting treatment for his issues.
he has every right to gamble and win. he's donating a chunk of it BACK to the charity, and some people want to SUE him?! come on. no ex post facto! double jeopardy! something. you can't sue someone just because they come into a windfall, that's retarded. stupid people.
