yesterday was a BIG day

and i totally forgot it. Pi (π) day is a grand day for nerds. so i'm hoping some of you nerds out there celebrated π Day. π as far as i know it is 3.141592654, so π Day is observed on 3/14, and i like to go a bit farther and say it is commemorated at 1:59:26.54, but then again, i'm a super nerd. and i missed it, damn. i remember in college they played "π" on valentine's day at the campus theater, and i took my girlfriend. she hated it, i loved it, but before the show they had people come up to recite π to as many digits as they knew. i went to a nerd school, and this was kind of lengthy but interesting. oh the good ol' days

but what's worse, is it was also "steak and BJ day". exactly one month after we guys try to make our lady feel special with flowers and hearts and chocolates and lingerie and all that lovely stuff she likes, on march 14, we get what we want... steak and BJs. a man should have a significant dent in his wallet after V-day, and a woman should have chapped lips, a sore throat, and organically moisturized skin, but that's what we do for the people we love.
